Recorded on November 22nd, 1977 at the Hope & Anchor in Islington, North London.

The concert marked the opening night of the 'Front Row Festival', a series of shows by many of the regular bands who had appeared at the venue during the year, including acts as diverse as Dire Straits, Shakin' Stevens, X-Ray Spex and Steel Pulse.

A misprint on the sleeve track-listing gives track 7 as 'Peasant In The Big City', when it should read 'Peasant In The Big Shitty' (see image).
