Re-issue of the original El Saturn Records The Sun Ra Arkestra - On Jupiter, recorded mid to late May and on October 16th, 1979 in New York.The release is credited to 'Sun Ra And His Solar Arkestra'. An extended variation of the group's name given in fine-print on the front sleeve reads 'Sun Ra And His Intergalactic Myth Science Solar Arkestra'.
An El Saturn Recording. Remastered and reissued by Art Yard Ltd in cooperation with ESP-DISK and IHNFINITY IS, LLC, a New York Limited Liability Company, representing the successors to the members of the original IHNFINITY IS, INC, an Illinois corporation. In this manner we honour and perpetuate the Sun Ra legacy.
