Recorded 1992 — 1995 in Melbourne, Australia by Jon Brunner + Rueben Pinkster. Mastered by Rob Rolfe.

Tracks A1, A3, A5, B2 & B3 were recorded 1993–4 on cassette four track at home in Blessington Street St. Kilda... late at night with the world asleep... Over dubbed whatever instruments were at home... guitar...banjo...piano...organ. Mixed at Rueben Pinkster's home in Richmond by Warwick, Andy and Rueben.

Tracks A2, B4 & B5 were recorded in Melbourne by Rueben Pinkster during 1995.
Tracks A4 & B1 were recorded in Melbourne by Jon Brunner during 1992.

The songs 'Stone Lazy' and 'I Don't Believe You' were recorded at the same time as the EP 'Scrape It Out'. Andy and Joel wrote and recorded (the songs) 'Scrape It Out' and 'Mercy Killing' along with the song 'Stone Lazy' ...(the former) were released on the EPs 'Scrape It Out E.P.' ...and 'Nothing Lost, Nothing Gained'.
