Initially issued on the DFS label, Jan 1963 (DFS 11) by the band's manager/producer Smallin. Licenced (as this copy) to Marascalco's Princess label as a full-length issue, and subsequently released in edited form on both Princess and Dot labels.

Identical labels to "Surfer Joe / Wipe Out" but plays longer version of "Surfer Joe"

All copies of the Princess issue show the time as 2:20 on the "Surfer Joe" label, not 3:40 as on the DFS issue.

However, this particular version plays the longer version, running close to 3:40, with a fourth verse about Joe doing KP.

The Δ 46155 in dead wax is different than on the shorter Princess version.
