"In 2006 I was sleeping on a mattress at my stepdad's house in the British suburb of Throop, with my CD collection piled around me. One day I decided to find every instance of the word 'love' or the phrase 'I love you' being sung on these CDs, and dub them onto cassette in one continuous sequence. The resulting audio collage took three days to record and was half an hour long.

Previously only available to order on cassette, '237 Love Songs' is now being released digitally for the first time to mark its tenth anniversary.
