Song A5 was written live in the studio, recorded in 1988 at Gallery Studios, LA
Song B1-B2 were written in 1986 and recorded in 1988 at Gallery Studios, LA (B1) Pat Byars studio (B2). They were intended for "Swimming with Friends" but money for recording them ran out.
Songs B3 and B4 were recorded in 1982 in LA on home equipment by Pat Byars and were meant to be on the record "Way Down South", written at xmas time
Songs C1-C4 from The Stroke Band early days, recorded in 1978 in Valdosta Georgia
Songs C5-D6 recorded by The Unknowns in 1980. songs D1-D4 have never been on vinyl in any form before. recorded in 1980 at Natural Sound El Cajon, CA and mixed in 1988 at Radio Tokyo, Venice by Ethan James, Bruce Joyner, Chris Davies.
