Identifying characteristics of this version:
• Black center labels with silver typeset, thin Verve logo with ® underneath, and no period between the "VU" under the band name.
• Pressed by Hauppauge Record Manufacturing Ltd. as identified by the "HRM" and "ᐉ" (isosceles triangle on its side with a dot inside) in runouts, and the "53" printed at the beginning of the center label rim text.
• Sleeve printed by Album Graphics Inc., based on "704" on rear bottom right corner.

A collection of previously unreleased recordings. All recordings were originally produced in 1968 and 1969 by The Velvet Underground. A5 mixed June 1969, all others mixed June 1984. Mixed and engineered at MediaSound, NYC. Mastered at Sterling Sound, NYC.

Includes a black & white printed inner sleeve with band biography, and pictures, cat. # STDLVELUNGE 1.
