"In 2006 Thorns Ltd. participated in the sicth Santa Fe Bienniale with the piece 0.0. A nonlinear generative sound piece composed for a 5.1 surround set up and played back in an almost blackend out room to enhance the listening experience.
The piece was played from a compute by software that continually picked audiofiles after parametric programming from 3 independent streams defined by their structual and aestetic potential. The pool contained about 50 gigabytes of sound material and the piece was played continuously for 6 months at the Bienniale. These tapes represents a frozen glimpse of 1 gigabyte in a 2 hour composit form."
