"Something fresh for bandcamp day, tracks i've been working on, still warm!The story of this release is that i’m finally more confident with Scala tuning, generating or just using custom scales, found some patience and learned a lot recently, so every time i sit down nowdays to write a sound or music i try to do so in a temperament i haven’t been using, because adventure! Of course it ends up falling in love with tunings so i write several pieces, 22tet is such, honestly, i don’t know what i have been doing with my life, i found 31tet meantone and Fokker tuning about five years ago, and wrote really evil metallic acid raves and piano like fm synth tracks on it, but 22 notes is something else. It’s strange but sweet, it has this wide range, so many possibility, it’s scary but in a good way, i’m still just trying to get the feel. So the first track is my very first experiment within, along with recordings of the starling family that is nesting on the pine tree a garden away, they are so funny, i go out in the morning to listen to their vocal exercizes, that includes car alarm, this characteristic sweep, and my favourite, children screaming in the distance. Pretty accurate physical models! Doumo and Ce Pal are different harmonic scales, not telling which, haha. Branding mania is crossing over from 12tet into something else... the rest of the tracks are mixes i did for The Muzzle Soul tape, booring 12tet, the ones that did not fit into the 40 minutes or some that was written after i’ve finished it. There is so many others i need to finish, record and mix..."
