Originally released only as the bonus second disc of the physical cd version of "Weeks," "Oldies But Moldies" collects all of the cover songs that I've recorded over the last several years into one digital album. Many were featured from the 2015 Songs Of The Week project, but they range from 2017 covers of "Revolution" and "Back In The U.S.S.R." mastered in person at Abbey Road Studios (where the cover was photographed), all the way back to some of my my very first solo recordings following LUZER's breakup in the late 00s (Jellyfish's "Bye Bye Bye").Clearly, The Beatles have always been my biggest influence, and the second half of the album is dedicated entirely to the music John, Paul, George, and Ringo created. But the title was also inspired by The Beatles. John teamed with Phil Spector in the mid-70's to record a collection of covers. That album was released as "Rock 'n' Roll," but John's working title was "Oldies But Mouldies," Other than dropping the British spelling, I couldn't think of a more appropriate title for this collectio
