Selections Iike: La Aparición, Llano de Piedra and El Tambor de Alegría, are played and danced in the interior of Panamá and they are faithfully interpreted in this LP by Maestro Tobias Plicet and his Conjunto Tlpico. Other numbers which you will find on this LP by GRECHA are the popular Cumbias La Rebujina, Eneida, and Los Dos Solitos, very gay and light melodies of typical music of Panamá and finally El Trapichito and Hojita de Tamerindo.In Maestro TOBIAS PLICET, we have found the most experienced and typical orchestral group to play these selections. Maestro Plicet has lived in the regions that gave birth to the tamborera, cumbia, tonada and tuna, and has taken this repertoire of his native music to the neighboring Costa Rica, Colombia, Perú and México, where they have been adopted in part to the music of those countries.
