Despite this set numbering the episodes 1-4, the release comprises of episodes 4, 5, 6 and 7 of the original sixteen that comprised the 1941 serial "Dr. Roebling And The Voice Machine" - episodes 228-231 the syndicated radio series. As such, it duplicates the first disc of the Murray Hill Superman release, (#894602), which had been released in 1976.

It seems that this release was originally planned as a two-disc set to comprise of eight episodes, and some sleeves were printed with a catalogue number of 2NLR1016 with the contents of "record 1" and "record 2" detailed on the back. Despite only containing the one record, some copies were issued in this incorrect sleeve.
