Recorded at Roger Arnhoff studio in February and March 1974.
"Johan Møkkerbakken" was recorded by Øystein Sunde at Bikuben during a concert Vømmøl Spellmannslag held there 20/2-1974.

First pressing made by Musikkindustri A/S. All records were made in the first half of 1974 as pressings from June that year were transferred to Ulf Corneliussen & Co. A/S, Hønefoss. This record sold more than 50.000 copies in 1974 alone.

This record was reprinted a lot of times. The MAI: logo is orangered in nuances.

There are at least three versions of the booklet: The first printing of the booklet has the text on page 2 printed in one column.
Later booklets have this text printed over two columns:

Some copies had advertisements for the music magazine "Vår Musikk" attached. The attachment was stamped with the text "MED VØMMØL HILSEN FRA SPELLMANNSLAGET"
