Second album by Vadim Rumyantsev, whose field recordings from Thailand we released earlier this year – this time a truly ambient electronic work, created with analogue & digital devices of all kinds. Sometimes improvised, sometimes composed, Odd Times ranges from infinitely unfolding drones to microtonal sounds structures. States of focused perceptions and relaxed moods, meditative feeling of space, explored through aural texture. Beautiful and fragile music, melancholic sometimes, but always aspiring to the lightness an transparency, to the unspoken and unspeakable.
