California Girls by Van Halen, David Lee Roth

Artists

Album Info

Label: Billboard

Indonesian Bootleg by notorious "Billboard" sub-label of King's Ind. Direct Metal Mastering logo also used on J-Card and tape. Inside of J-Card is totally blank but 5 pages long. 3 of the front pages have "'Van Halen', California Girls" written diagonally over illustrations of ornate floral designs and a man in traditional Indonesian dress. The other 2 front pages of the J-card has
the front cover and tracklist. "Coconut Grove" is incorrectly named "Coconut Girls" and "House of Pain incorrectly named "Hoose of Pain". Front cover is the cover to "Crazy From the Heat" with the Yellow, splatter-font tracklist from the back of the official release copied over the cover photo, which has the "Crazy From the Heat" text removed. Billboard logo also on cover. Even more peculiar is the "EP" text in the top right removed while the small stone tile it sits on remains. Replacing the "EP" text on the tile is a miniscule barcode with a SKU underneath that's too small to even read. The only references to any real label or staff behind the album is "Produced by Ted Templeman" in small, Yelow font above the Billboard logo on the cover. Back cover beside spine reads:

"Gives Exceptional Sound Transparency, Reduction of Noise, Elimination of pre and post groove echo.

Licence No: 098/Pend/BB/338/200/208
Member of APNI/No: 28/APNI/80"

Tape is a BASF Ferro Super (common for Billboard releases) and the stickers only read "Recorded by Billboard", as well as the Billboard, DMM and BASF logos.
