This disc is a high quality soundboard recording of the Pasadena Civic Center show from October 15, 1977. Van Halen played only one more live show before the first album was released.The mixing is pretty raw. But, this is a good representation of the band from the pre- VH1 days.
The back cover of the disc claims that this disc was recorded "live in St. Petersburg, FL - May 29, 1990", which is clearly incorrect. Sammy was in the band in 1990!
