This version of the release was a short run that preceded the main release. It was created in time to be sold at a show the Brittle Stars played on December 30th, 1998, and released that night.

It has a one-color silkscreened cover, screened on the front, back, and right inside the jacket. It includes a small insert which explains the reason for this pre-release version. The "back cover" that pasted on to the regular version of the release is included as an insert, as well as an additional two-sided insert with info about the bands.
