From the press release: "Sendungen Für Das Ausland is a compilation of various experimental artists from Norway released on Future Schrammelplatten Archive."

This compilation (as well as the Future Schrammelplatten Archive label) was an attempt at collaboration between Etchwear, byart and Early Morning Records. EMR/byart took care of the CDR version, while Etchwear was responsible for the cassette edition.

An insert enclosed with the CDR version says: "This is an unlimited edition cd promo copy for a 2-volume cassette release strictly limited to 30 copies. Due to be released spring 2000. For more info contact: Future Schrammelplatten Archive."

The CDR was originally intended as an unlimited edition, but only a first batch of 60-70 copies were actually made (with valuable help from T. Støyva of Madcap Laughs).

The CDR is packaged in a white cardboard box with two transparent inserts with credits plus a press release printed on A4 size white paper.
