initials (identities not yet found) probably for mastering facility and engineer: "IRC Au"

Dating:
The majority of the first sixty Candide "CE 310xx" series issues are consistently dated 1966-1971, clustering at 1968-1969. There are two 1975 exceptions, likely reissues or misdated. Almost all were of "avant-garde" contemporary repertoire. Releases continued to at least CE 31118 (dated 1980).
These facts supports the interpretation that THIS release was the first produced and released in the US.
But the UK-produced and US-marketed "VOX Candide Series" release as "STGBY 639" also falls into 1969-1971.
