Release Date: 2005

Label: Delta Entertainment

Videotaped on October 23, 1972 at Philharmonic Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City. The broadcast also included an edited version of the Dave Brubeck Quartet with Paul Desmond playing "Take Five," and Joe Williams singing with Count Basie, but they are omitted from this DVD.
Tracks 11 to 16 were performed as a tribute to Louis Armstrong, who had passed away the previous year. Tracks 14, 15 and 17 are credited to Ensemble, but I viewed the DVD to list the prominent musicians in those tracks.
This was also one of the last reunions of the Benny Goodman Quartet with Teddy Wilson, Lionel Hampton and Gene Krupa.
Full personnel are not listed anywhere on the package or in the broadcast credits. Some artists were identified visually.
Track numbering on the package does not match the programming on the DVD, which adds a collage of performance excerpts and stills with an unidentified voiceover.
Audio options include stereo and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.
