"A scream is a sound, emitted by the vocal organ (larynx) of a human or animal. It is usually a sharp sound, supposed to express a raw emotion: joy, fear, distress, aggressiveness, pleasure, etc. ... independently of any language. Whatever the language used, the scream has an important dynamic, between 30 and 150 decibels, as well as the alarms, for example, and conversely the speech that only modulates between 4 and 5 decibels."
