A promotional sampler demonstrating the CX noise reduction system.Runouts are etched with G1 XT 2A stamped.
Regarding the compatibility of this disc with a conventional stereo system, the jacket states the following:
"A CX record is completely compatible with your current stereo system. You can play it and enjoy it now. However, with a CX decoder added to your system, you'll experience a startling difference in the dynamic range of your music. That's because when played with a CX decoder, a CX record will deliver clear, bright, noise-free sound - comparable to what you'd hear in an actual hall environment."
"DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE" is printed on the back of the jacket in the top-left corner (not a stamp, but an actual part of the layout).
Title On Spine: "CX-Sampler Pop/Classical"
