"Let Him Have Justice" was first performed in a shorter version at Mountview Theatre School on 8 & 9 July, 1998. It was then commissioned by the BOC Covent Garden Festival of Opera and Music Theatre. First performance of this production at the Cochrane Theatre, London on 25 May 1999 as part of the BOC Covent Garden Festival."

"Let Him Have Justice" was developed as a devised work by the company. It is based, as closely as possible, on the facts of the Derek Bentley case, but licence has sometimes been used for dramatic purposes."
