This record was commissioned by "Migros Kulturprozent", a swiss cultural organisation. Project curator / soundartist Roli Widmer put together a 60 minute CD with sounds from various locations and projects involving the Migros shopping centers, which are spread across Switzerland. Such as radiospots, atmo, internal education films, talkshows, concerts given and such alike. This CD was then mailed to cutting edge musicians allover the world. The resulting "remixes" are different in style. All tracks are exclusive.The resulting double 12" LP plus CD was limited to 2000 copies, however the record was never released for sale, just given away to the artists involved, to Migros shareholders and used for cultural promotion.
The record comes in a gatefold cover with the original CD attached to the inside.
