Ten of the songs were recorded live at a concert held in the ANU Refectory on Saturday 16th December, 1989. The others were recorded live at 2XX, except Electric Hotpants Sisters (recorded at 2XX), Cyrenes of Asherah (recorded at the Drill Hall Gallery, Canberra) and The Wailing Cockatoos (recorded at NRS, Canberra).
