The back cover is blank. The album features recordings of groups which performed at the 1968 Central States District Contest at the Music Hall in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 5, 1968. The Central States District was one of seventeen districts of the SPEBSQSA.A mimeographed insert on light pink paper was enclosed, accompanied by a gummed label designed to correct an error on the album's cover. The mimeographed insert explained the crediting error, contained an apology, and gave instructions for applying the gummed label.
