Our record number 100 was supposed to be a physical compilation, but then the world collapsed during the COVID-19 pandemic. We decided to show solidarity with the music scene that was taking the massive blow for this. So we wanted to get all the bands together that ever released a record on our humble record label, representing them with one song each.
We've released bands from Wuhan, China, South Korea, Germany, Italy, USA, Aalborg, Denmark, Holland to basically everywhere in the world. They are all represented on this comp.
On Wednesday the 20th of March at midday we sent out a mail to all the bands, and exactly 24 hours later all the bands had replied and they all wanted to have a song on this compilation and show their solidarity.
The punk and alternative community once again showed their strength.
It shows that local communities, solidarity, unity, persistency, and global understanding is still the way forward.
This compilation shows, on a micro level, that if we stand together in local entities with global outlook and consider the whole world as one we can overcome anything.
Together we can whether the storm!
