This album shows the diversity in the ambient scene. all the artists here are driven and motivated to put their thoughts through the use of their creativity into sounds...With this compilation we hope to promote the artists that contributed and we hope to gain enough attention to organise Donkse Nachten festivals.

After building a reputation on electronic drones and beats, this time around Vera lets her shamanic voice do the whole job: selecting excerpts from Teresa of Avila's main opus "Interior Castle", she weaves a solo vocal piece that takes the listener on a trip towards the innermost plies of the soul and towards mystical ecstasy. As Teresa is possessed by God at the end of her spiritual quest, so Vera's voice gets more and more tense, emotional, strong and fragile at the same time - until the final climax."
