From outer side of J card:
"Jan 5, 1993. Kinko's Pleasant Hill. Aaron suggested I write something about the selections on this tape but I've had too much coffee to think about it a lot. The songs are all special because they are either really good songs by mostly unknown bands or really obscure songs by well known bands and they are all good. I mean really good and it's amazing that so much good music could come from such a small obscure town and I'm proud to beve [sic] been in and around all these bands so I hope you like it. Please tell me if you do"
