Also named 'Moonlight of Hsun-yang' This is a great work m the history of Chinese music Originally it was a pipa composition and now this one is rearranged for a combination of in~trurnental performance It calls to mind the night in Springtime with the silver-like moonlight ~prcad over the quiet river and the flowered banks
2. THE PARTRIDGES
It is originally a composition of a flute that sings about the life of partridges. From time to time the musical instruments imitate the sounds of the partridges' crying and flying.
3. FAIRIES DANCE
This is newly rearranged by Mr. Kwan Sing-yau based on the old melody. Behind the piece of music, it tells the beautiful story of Tang Ming Wang (An emperor of the Tang Dynasty) who dreamed of visiting his lover in the palace upon the moon. It is believed that the music was originally accompanied by the dance of the fairies in the moon
4. DELIGHTFUL SONG
This is also a famous piece of Southern Chinese music that describes the people enjoying their leisure in a joyous mood.
5. FEATHER FAN DANCE
