This compilation was prepared from December 2008 to March 2009. Musicians who live (or have lived) in the "Valparaíso dimension" were invited to participate. The project implied the making of a set of soundscapes or field recordings (made in distinctive geographic areas of the harbor), which were assigned to each and every contributor for them to elaborate their sound proposals.

Thus, we wanted, again, to generate a record of the physical - emotional landscape of a particular region, just like we did in "Austrofonías" [pn041], devoted to Magallanes.
