Compilation that accompanied the book "Ska Boom: An American Ska & Reggae Oral History" (DiWulf Publishing, 2021) for those that ordered a pre-sale copy of Ska Boom!This 80 minute CD was curated by DJ Chuck Wren of Jump Up Records and digs deep into the obscure world of privately pressed records, proving that American ska roots were firmly planted during the 80s alternative music underground. Chuck purposely did not include a tracklist on the release. Instead, he revealed the bands and songs in the order they appear on the CD in an episode of the SKA BOOM show, and shared stories about each band on the compilation.
