The RT-32 ACOUSTIC SPACE LAB is a multi-media exploration of the VIRAC radio telescope, a 32 m dish antenna in Irbene, Latvia, including sound art using radio and satellite technology. An art symposium took place in August 2001 at the site of the RT-32 with participation of thirty artists, radio amateurs and community radio activists from all over the world.

The audio compilation of Open Source Sampling project contains re-interpretations by various artists and musicians, using the materials gathered at the VIRAC radiotelescope during the ACOUSTIC SPACE LAB symposium.

This CD contains audio compilation while another version with audio CD and documentary DVD also exists. Supported by:
