This is the original release of this CD, which includes the 45 version of Journey's "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)". The only other CD to include the 45 version is Various - Gold & Platinum, which was only available via mail order. All others include the LP version.) At some point, Priority lost the license for the Journey tracks, and reissued Volumes 1 and 3 of this series with replacement tracks. The reissued Volume 3 is Various - The 80's Greatest Rock Hits Volume 3 Arena Rock.

Note that the reissued Volume 3 has a mastering error, which introduces a one-sample delay between the left and right channels on tracks 1-3 and 5-9 (i.e., the tracks in common between the two releases). The mastering is otherwise identical between the two releases, except for the delay. (Confirmed by null tests and "OOPS" tests for all 8 tracks, performed by user crapfromthepast, Jan 2021. If you would like to confirm one of these tests, use the Loverboy track and focus on the lead vocals. These lead vocals are essentially mono, and virtually disappear in the OOPS test for this original release, but not the rerelease.)
