This release features the unofficial edition of "Various Artists - Compilation Vol. I, Part 1," released on Chapelle XIV Music. The A-side deviates from the official version in two significant ways:"Trains des anges," a track by Jacques and Canblaster, is enriched by the inclusion of French artist Flavien Berger. Berger's entrancing vocal harmonies with Jacques contribute a captivating element to the song, distinguishing it from the version released on the Chapelle XIV Music label.
The track "A2. Voiski Feat. Crysta Patterson - -X-LalaChapelle" is absent from this record.
In contrast, the B-side remains consistent with the official release.
The rationale behind the decision not to choose this version has not been provided.
The vinyl record is not accompanied by an outer-sleeve. However, it comes with a plastic sleeve that has two Skull stickers affixed to it and the label. This seems to be a deliberate nod to the fact that the item is not intended for commercial purposes. The reference to Jolly Roger, a term believed to originate from the French phrase "joli rouge" meaning "pretty red," is noteworthy. Historical pirate flags were originally colored blood red, instead of the now-familiar black and white, which served as a warning that no quarter would be given once the pirates boarded and engaged in combat.
This unofficial record is intended for Yoyaku and Chapelle XIV close circle, and is not available for sale.
