This is the 1968 initial stereo pressing housed in a mono gatefold sleeve with an oval "STEREO" sticker on front cover and includes a glued-in 11 page uncredited illustrated booklet. Labels are purple with "STER-3967" to left, but without "STEREO" above as seen on this 1968 stereo version.

Per press ring size and inclusion of "114" etched into runouts, identify this version an an All Disc Records, Inc. pressing.

"Based on the book by Johanna Spyri" shows on cover, but she is not an integral participant in this recording.

"Copyright © 1968 Walt Disney Productions" shows on cover, liner and gatefold frontispiece.
