The Music Connection compact discs provide a variety of song formats including Stereo Vocal, Stereo Performance Track, Pick-A-Track, and Teach-A-Part. In addition, there are Dance--Performance Tracks and Dance--Practice Tempos.

• Stereo Vocal indicates that the song is recorded in stereo, including both vocal and instrumental parts. Stereo tracks match the "sound" that today's students are familiar with and will help stimulate student participation and involvement.
• Stereo Performance Track indicates a full stereo instrumental track that can be used to accompany your students' singing, whether for classroom rehearsals or stage performances.
• Pick-A-Track permits the separation of the vocal and instrumental parts using the balance control on a stereo CD player. (the voice track will be heard from one speaker and the accompaniment track from the other. Turning down the volume of the voice track allows the accompaniment to be used alone for study and performance. An alternative adjustment allows the voices to be highlighted. Stereo sound will be heard when both tracks are balanced.)
• Teach-A-Part permits the separation of vocal parts in part songs using the balance control.
• Dance--Performance Tracks are provided to accompany the many dances included in the series. These tracks are recorded at the appropriate tempo for the performance of each dance.
• Dance--Practice Tempos have been provided as rehearsal or practice for the dances. These tracks are recorded at a slower tempo to assist the students in learning the dance.
