This cassette is the result of the many requests I had from the Salamanca Markets visitors from all parts of the globe for a recording of Tasmanian Classic JAZZ.
Perhaps they were drawn to my stall by the ebullient sounds of a clarinet or cornet weaving its improvisations through the Saturday morning bustle?
The cassette features some of out best Traditional Jazz musicians and is a selection of standard tunes and original compositions taken from the Tasmanian Jazz Composers recordings (Volumes I and II). I trust you will enjoy this collection.
