“Projekt Bob Dylan: Volunteer Slovenia!” is not only about bringing together great artists to make great music. It is also about raising awareness of some very important social issues in Slovenia. Each of the Bob Dylan songs recorded is paired with a Slovenian NGO that is working on critical social issues in Slovenia, but the success of these efforts is largely tied to the individuals these NGOs are trying to reach. 2011 is the EU Year of the Volunteer, and we are doing what we can to highlight the value and importance of every day people making a difference.
