Cottonopolis is a collection of Greater Manchester bands we (Vinyl revival) have known since we first opened our doors in 1997. All these bands recorded great tracks but never became household names but all deserved of a place in Manchester’s Musical History.

This compilation includes both obscure and previously unreleased tracks from Proud Mary, Omerta, The Delaplains, Death To The Strange, Rambo and Leroy, The Broadcast, The Fayre, Rubber Orange, The Children and Asia Fields.

The artwork is courtesy of Oldham Gallery. A photograph taken in the late 1800′s of the Cotton Mills in Oldham where a number of these bands are from.
