"I first discovered John's music when listening to the Themepark compilation "Corkscrewed". From there it was the Themepark vinyl, the Shrimper tapes and then everything. Its safe to say I'm crazy about the Mountain Goats, so enthusiastic in fact that if i had the money i would get a Mountain Goats tattoo.
I would like to thank everyone who sent songs for this compilation, i am forever in your debt. Its my intention to some-day release volume two and i'm hoping this release will spreade the news "stone in pond like" across the world.
