Exactly 42.000 seconds per track. That was the game and the challenge. Think of this compilation as one big band playing you 190 tunes in 130 minutes.Through putting this together, I feel like I have become friends with all the tracks. The range of tiny sonic diaries from each of the projects is immense. Still not all styles in the world are covered in one place, but, it's getting there; certainly for all the dark, heavy, abstract, minimal, grand, fast and slow etc ways of thinking, playing, enjoying sound.
Each one brings something new, different, intriguing to the collection, placed as a specific piece telling a bigger story with a destination of near mental apocalypse.
I really hope someone will listen to this in one sitting. It's quite exhausting, but the patchwork quilt trip you will experience is incredibly illuminating, fascinating, insane!
