Limited edition release of 500 copies housed in a brown printed heavy burlap bag (like a potato sack).

- "Potatoes" LP compilation in white marbled vinyl,
- "Mashed Potatoe (A Mashed Version Of Potatoes)" 7" single in white marbled vinyl, plain white sleeve,
- a large folded poster of the cover art,
- a postcard announcing the record release party.

The 7" record is a mix of excerpts from all the tracks of the Potatoes compilation edited together by Mark Hosler of Negativland. Record plays same tracks on both sides. It was released in a limited edition of 550 copies, so there are left copies (Mashed Potatoe (A Mashed Version Of Potatoes)) from this edition. A small run of this 7" single (perhaps 10-30 copies) were mispressed on marbled "milk green" vinyl, residues of other color in press got mixed in on earliest pressings meant to be done in white.
