"Once I discovered IDM as a genre, I realised that while it basically seems an appropriate name, the 'D' was hardly ever adequate in it's original meaning. This is where the idea of IAM originally came from. Soon it seemed a short, catchy and teasing title for a compilation.
However, the music featured here does not claim to be 'more intelligent' or 'something else' as it might sound like from title.
It simply refers to the IDM genre, no more, no less.

IAM is the first in a series of compilations. Get ready for ICM, IEM and who knows, maybe some day even IDM itself :-)."
