This compilation is curated by The National Library of New Zealand digital music preservation program, and features music from various New Zealand artists, all distributed freely according to the Creative Commons license. Released to coincide with the annual New Zealand Music Month. Available for free download at beta.natlib.govt.nz.

Each track has a separate cover art (taken from the source album or EP), and all tracks are encoded with a bitrate of 320 kbps, except for tracks 4 (128 kbps) and 9 (VBR V0).
