This compilation was named after a feature by Jon Savage - "My Bloody Valentine: Feedback to the Future" - which appeared in the Spring 1991 issue of 20/20.

CD is housed in a hardcover book including a 40-page booklet with a history of shoegazing music and background info on each artist on this compilation.
