Result of a contest in the German web forum Coreboard.de held by Martin Damm in the summer of 2004. All regular forum members were allowed to submit their material and finally to vote which tunes deserved a proper vinyl release.
Only Amp's, Overfiend's and Modulok's tracks were specifically produced for core-07. TerrorMasta's new approach was outvoted against his Braindestruction theme, previously available on Noizetrauma Part Zwei compilation, Messias provided one of his old, yet unreleased tracks and Inapt's one has been freely available in the internet since 2002 under his alias "5xpi". The track "Stufe 2" by iGoA was actually voted in, but had to make space for Modulok's track. It was later released on core-08.
