For Volumes 2, 4, and 10 in the The Rock 'N' Roll Era series, Time-Life released an RE-1 reissue ("RE-1" is in the matrix string) with track listings and artwork that were identical to the original release, but upgraded sound using earlier-generation tape sources. It is unclear if such an RE-1 reissue exists for Volume 11.
A web page on the 'Both Sides Now' site shows an RE-2 reissue of Volume 11 being released in 1992. Tracks 4 and 15 are "Wonderful World" and "Cathy's Clown". The BSN site states that the RE-2 reissue has upgraded sound from the original release, but does not mention an RE-1 reissue. According to the BSN site, Time-Life lost the rights to the Sam Cooke tracks.
'1960' is an RE-3 reissue from 1993 or later. Track 4 is Floyd Cramer "Wonderful World", and track 15 is Everly Brothers "Cathy's Clown".
