French Pressing whitout the track 'Wake Up Niggers' (Last Poets) for unknown reason. This track has been erased from the tracklisting on the back sleeve but still appears. It was also removed from the labels (see images).
Made in U.S.A printed on the back cover but actually pressed and printed in France.
The title is printed "The Performance" on labels.
1st cat# on spine and back cover.
2nd cat# on front cover.

OST of the movie 'Performance' directed in 1968 by Donald Cammell / Nicolas Roeg.

The lyrics of the track B1 (Memo From Turner) were re-written for this film and so different than on the Rollings Stones The Rolling Stones - Metamorphosis LP from 1975.

According to Colin McCabe (in his book 'Performance') the Moog synthesizer was so new that none were commercially available and a prototype was used for these recordings in 1968 by Bernie Krause.
