Was a semi-regular night in Melbourne which gave electronic producers and musicians in general the challenge of producing and performing an original set of ambient music using any equipment they wish for a 20 minute set. The only restrictions were that as the name suggests they must be beatless. No beats, no kick drums, no snares, no cymbals, no rhythms. Each night was free entry and non-profit. This means that the promoters and the performers got no money. Free entry for the punters and the producers did it out of their own time. It ran at Disco Beans and then Longplay Bar and Cinema Northcote and Fitzroy Melbourne. All performances were meant to be recorded and/or filmed unless the performer requested otherwise. However due to issues with the Visual/Recording only the first night was ever successfully recorded. These are presented here.

Originally arranged as a short lineup ambient night by experienced ambient electronic producer Mandark. "Senza Misura" grew into the idea of challenging producers and musicians to step out of their regular styles and comfort zones and with a small window of 20 minutes - create a short, original ambient performance. 8 producers stepped up to the challenge.

During it's brief tenure Senza Misura presented beatless ambient and musique concrete sets from Mandark, Falling Through Walls, Gelido, Enervatix, Michael T Roper, Ghostsoul, Pselodux, Deadcode, Vomitron Macdoom, Ghostcircle, Abre Ojos, Jaek, Binliner, Refund and visuals by Polywrong.
